Milwaukee Wiener House – They’ve been serving up classic Coney Island-style chili dogs, homemade chili, and bottled soda since 1918. This locally-owned, family-owned hot dog shop prides itself on being a part of the Sioux City community. They have been around so long that they have become a part of our culture! They are also known for their friendly service and the ability to cater to their customers' needs. I recommend the BOW-WOW with everything.
Main + Abbey – if you have a little money to spend this is a place to come with friends have a pint and a great meal. They have a comfort & contemporary atmosphere featuring 25 craft beers (with many local favorites) the Hard Rock like to keep with that Sioux City connection in their establishment. It also has a distinctive list of specialty drinks, and a delicious selection of Americana entrees.
La Juanitas – Has to be one of the top spots downtown for tradition Mexican cuisine and is a staple in Sioux City. Everyone knows the red & white tile flooring means you're about to get some absolutely perfect tacos & burritos.
Tacos El Quero – if were talking Mexican food in downtown we can’t keep Tacos el Quero out of the conversation. El Tacos Guero is a Mexican restaurant that believes in uncomplicated, farm-fresh ingredients and making everything from scratch. We all have a variety of food moods, and if your swings anywhere near Mexican this place should definitely come into consideration. At El Tacos Guero, it's all delicious and memorable!
Table 32 – Now this one is newer to the downtown scene but nothing, but good things have come out of this place. You can tell that each meal is made with passion for the craft, staying focused on real ingredients and hand crafting them into something truly delicious. The aesthetic of this place is completely unique. In all honesty this place is downtown must visit.
Soho – This establish is purely a crowd favorite in the downtown area, serving up tasty American cuisine from salads and wraps to burgers and flatbread pizzas. With a beer, wine, spirits selection that is second to none in the area. This is an incredible little slice of the big apple right here in Sioux City.
The Diving Elk – As soon as you walk through the front doors of this place, you’ll be warmly greeted by our staff and a pub-style ambiance. It’s unlike anywhere else in Sioux city. They got 18 craft beers on tap that change out periodically so you’ll never get bored with the selection, handcrafted cocktails, and exceptional pub food, you'll find something special in The Diving Elk that will keep you coming back again and again.

You're in for a real treat when you come to Famous Dave’s. They’ve serving up authentic, slow-cooked BBQ since 1994 and been a staple of the community for decades. Their 6 special sauces are served with every dish they make—and it's always been worth the wait.
Hard Line Coffee Co. – Man! Do these folks know how to do coffee, and do it ethically is at the top of their list! Hardline Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee shop that is passionate about providing ethically sourced and environmentally conscious products to a growing community with dietary restrictions. They specialize in the shop's vegan and vegetarian menu options, which are prepared with the utmost care and attention. Not to mention that they are huge supporters of local artist, they even have an art gallery attached to this awesome little coffee spot.
Marto Brewing Company – Authentic Neapolitan style pizza and craft beer made in house. Need I say more? The best part about Marto Brewing Co. is that they offer a menu of food items created using local ingredients whenever possible to go along with their fantastic array of beer.
